Groves Nurseries is a real gardeners garden centre, we understand that it is because of plants that most people visit garden centres so at Groves we make sure we always have an absolutely huge selection to choose from.  
Know what you are looking for? Then head straight to our A-Zs. Most of our usual stock lines are conveniently arranged alphabetically including shrubs, climbers, ornaments trees, fruit trees, alpines and herbaceous plants.   Unfortunately space is limited in these areas & we always have plants that look just so great that we can’t help but buy a lot, check out our brick paved, promotional area which is always filled with many amazing displays guaranteed to inspire.

Of course you can buy container grown trees all year round, but in the winter we sell a selection of fruit trees and hedging bare root in our specially constructed plunge beds.  Bare root trees offer excellent value, particularly useful if you are thinking of putting in a hedge as the bare roots can keeps your costs of an otherwise expensive project to a minimum.
Because we are still a working nursery we grow a lot of plants ourselves.  We have a large selection of home grown tomatoes, leeks, courgettes, marrows, sweet corn all available in pots as well as many cabbages, cauliflowers and sprouts.  Of course if you are feeling just that little bit fruitier, we have all of the soft fruit & bushes you will need.  

Of course Groves is famous for its violets.  You can view the National Collection from January to April in our fabulous solar dome where our specimen plants will be in full flower, or if you can’t make it to us in person, have a look at our collection online where you can see full colour pictures and order whichever you want.

If violets aren't quite your thing then what about a rose? We keep a large selection of roses in stock all year round but if you want a really good choice then come along during the autumn when we have a huge selection of over 110 varieties of roses.
