Acceptance of orders

Our aim is to give satisfaction; we do our best to see that our goods leave our premises in good condition, but the future & wellbeing of plants depends so much on soil, position, planting, after-care and weather conditions that we cannot accept responsibility for failures and therefore cannot replace.  If on arrival you are dissatisfied, please return the consignment at once.  We take every care to ensure that goods are true to name, but we do not guarantee.  Should there be a mistake we will gladly replace. Prices quoted are not binding as so much depends on size & quality.  We reserve the right to alter prices if necessary.

All prices quoted are inclusive of 17.5% VAT unless otherwise stated (Z). Fruit, Vegetables & Grass Seed are zero (Z) rated.

In these days of continuous inflation, with ever increasing overheads, wages & threshold rises, it may be necessary to increase some prices in those circumstances we shall invoice at prices ruling at the date of dispatch.

All prices remain the property of C.W. Groves & Son Ltd until paid for in full.   

Gravel Delivery:
Delivery by the company (Deco-pak) shall be conditional upon access free from encumbrances and good roads being available to the company's vehicles to the place of delivery.  The company will not accept any liability for damages to the property caused during delivery.  The customer understands that where able, our delivery driver will try and place products ordered on the customers driveway and therefore agrees that their driveway is capable of withstanding the weight of a small tail lift truck and purchased goods.

Please note, we don’t have all items at the garden centre listed on the website on show and some larger bulky items will be delivered direct from the supplier.
