It's great fun to grow you own vegetables and last year loads of people were having a go at it but why not try growing your own soft fruit. A great advantage of fruit over most vegetables is that that they are perennial, meaning that once planted they only need replacing every few years unlike most vegetables that need planting in rotation most years.
Strawberry, raspberries and blackberries are all ideal to have on your cereals in the morning if you just grow a few or for making jam if you end up with loads. For something a bit different, why not try our Kiwi fruits or even have a look at our collection of grape vines, specially selected to grow in the UK.
Due to the fact that they last a long time fruit also make great presents for friends and family.
Most of the fruit are bare rooted (except our grape vines) and so only available in the winter months when dormant (November through to March). However you can always create a wish list and we will let you know when an item becomes in stock.
If you need any help or advice with selecting your vines please feel free to give one of our experienced nurserymen (Steve, David, Martin or Cyril) a call on 01308 422654 or send us an e-mail on garden@grovesnurseries.co.uk
