Teak…the traditional material for garden furniture. It has certainly stood the test of time and for very good reason. The beautifully smooth texture shows the grain of the wood off wonderfully and the naturally high oil content of the wood protects it from cracking in the most extreme of weather conditions. All of this put together makes the most amazing garden furniture, with a lifetime of over 25 years.
Of course teak has had its problems in the past and there have quite rightly been great concern over the environmental impact of harvesting such a wood. However we are very please to be able to tell you that all Alexander Rose wooden furniture comes with full FSC certification and is only made from premium wood that can be traced all the way back to its origins in Brazil.
