Flowers: Small creamy-white flowers in summer
Sun/shade: Partial shade
Soil: Rich, fertile soil
Maintenance: Needs temperatures above 7C, can be grown in a pot. Dig up/remove any surplus roots if it becomes invasive.
Harvesting: Pick leaves fresh through the growing season and use sparingly as they have quite a strong flavour.If you bring it inside in autumn then its a great herb to use through the winter.
Cooking uses: Young leaves taste like mild coriander with a kick of lemon. The flavour becomes more intense as the plant matures. Use at the end of cooking in dishes such as noodle soups, stir fries and with cous cous.
