Blackcurrant Ben Hope

A vigorous, upright-growing bush. Ben Hope is a late season cultivar, producing high yields of medium sized fruit with good flavour. Fruits are produced from late July to early August.  Self fertile. Good disease resistance. Plant in sun/partial shade in rich moist but not waterlogged soil. Pruning: Each year remove about one third of the oldest stems (cut to ground level). Height & spread: 1.5m (5ft)
