'Etoile de Holland'
Masses of dark red blooms in summer. Repeat flowering. Strong scent. Grow in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun - tolerates almost any soil.
For best flowering mulch in late winter and feed with a balanced fertilizer in spring and summer. Dead-head regularly to prolong flowering. Prune in late winter (February).
Add 'Rootgrow' to the roots to give them a good start. Height: 5.5m (18ft). Average disease resistance.
