Also known as Moody Blue. Large intense lilac-blue flowers that fade to silver-lilac. Strong scent and vigorous growth. Repeat flowering from June until the first frosts.
Grow in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun - tolerates almost any soil. For best flowering mulch in winter & feed with a balanced fertilizer in spring & summer. Dead-head regularly to prolong flowering. Prune in late winter (Feb). Add 'Rootgrow' to the roots to give them a good start. To combat fungal diseases regular spraying is needed. Good disease resistance.
