Kings Salad Leaf Mixed Oriental Leaves Seeds

Grow your own tasty colourful salad leaves which are packed full of nutrients. There is nothing quite as special and rewarding as going out to your own garden and selecting home grown produce to use in your meals. This mixture contains: Mibuna (17%), Mustard Red Giant (16%), Pak choi shanghai (17%), Komatsuma Tender green (17%), Mizuna (17%), Chinese Cabbage Wonk Bok (16%). When to Sow: All the year round. Where to Sow: Sow thinly in a prepared seed bed 0.5cm (1/4in) deep in rows 25-30cm (10-12in) apart. Keep soil moist. Sow seed in succession every 2-3 weeks for a continuous supply of fresh young leaves. What to do next: Keep soil moist and cut leaves from each plant leaving some leaves on each so they re-grow. You will often get 3-4 cuttings per plant. Harvest: All year round. Notes: Cut leaves as required. Handy Tip: Early autumn and winter sowings can be made in containers in a cold glasshouse.
