Attractive, bright fruits with excellent flavour.  Exceptionally long picking season which starts mid July and continues on to mid August.  Space raspberry canes 35-45cm apart with plenty of organic matter. Summer raspberries need a sturdy support system: run two wires one 60cm (2ft) high and the other 1.5m (5ft) high along the length of the row. Summer-fruiting varieties crop in July on last year's growth, so when their season finishes cut down the fruiting stems to 6 inches above the ground.
