Tummelberry

This hybrid berry is similar to the tayberry but with very attractive fruits that are a brighter red in colour. The large berries can be harvested from July onwards for a delicious summertime dessert.

• Picking Time: July - mid-August
• Soil Type: Rich, moist soil, best in full sun

Requires supports using heavy-duty wire and stout posts. Mulch in the spring to conserve moisture.
