Front of House Assistant, Bridport

We have an immediate vacancy for an assistant in our restaurant

Ivy House Kitchen is the iconic restaurant situated at Groves Nurseries in Bridport. The Ivy House opened in May 2018 and has quickly gained a very large customer based of traditional garden centre customers, tourists and locals. We are striving to make Ivy House the first choice for exceptional food and coffee in an amazing setting and also a venue for events, workshops and social gatherings.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person, with hospitality experience to join our front of house team.

The successful candidate will work to a rota and will be flexible enough to work weekends as well as weekdays and also helping out at occasional out of hours events. They will be happy working as part of a team and show exemplary customer service skills whilst being extremely well presented and showing great attention to detail at all times.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further their career and gain valuable experience in a high volume customer focused catering environment, with the possibility to progress to supervisor level.

The Ivy House team is part of C.W. Groves & Son Ltd which is one of Bridport’s longest established businesses. Established in 1866, we are a family business who employ over 70 staff members many of whom have been with us for more than 10 years. Must be available to work weekdays as well as weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £9.00-£10.00 per hour
