Barista/Catering Assistant

We have an immediate vacancy for someone who is a confident barista but is also able to prepare basic takeaway food in our Cabin.

Situated next to our main restaurant in our plant area, The Cabin offers hot and cold drinks, panini, sandwiches and smoothies.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person, with hospitality experience to join our front of house team to assist in running our Cabin.

You should have experience serving coffee and other hot drinks along with a range of cold beverages. Ivy House it a high volume catering operation so the ability to handle pressure during busy periods is a must.

You will share responsibility for running our takeaway with another collegue and will prepare food and serve both hot and cold drinks. You will be expected to work alone for the day. You will be responsible for ensuring the food is presented in accodance to strict guidelines, that your workarea is cleaned down at the end of every day and that you are up to date with all relevant record keeping such as temperature logs.

You will show exemplary customer service skills whilst being extremely well presented and showing great attention to detail at all times.

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
