Maintenance: A strong growing hardy perennial that dies back in winter.
Harvesting: Pick fresh leaves as they are needed in the growing season, leaves can also be dried.
Cooking uses: Leaves taste of mint with overtones of basil. Good for use in vinegars and oils. It is also excellent dried and added to pork or lamb stews. Like other mints, Basil mint is thought to be good for aiding digestion.
‘Please note this plant is herbaceous. It will die back in the winter months to reshoot in the spring’
